Bonus Challenge Object: Observers with 10-inch or larger telescopes (Have an 8-inch? Go ahead and try!), see if you can locate planetary nebula Minkowski 1-18. See chart below the main image chart.

Image: Minkowski 1-18 (PK 231+4.1) **Bonus Challenge Object**. This planetary nebula is a very faint (14.0 magnitude) round 30" glow. Can you spot it? The DSS image below has north at top and is 15' wide. Correlate it to the larger field image above to find it. See Stephen Waldee's detailed description of successfully observing this tough one in a 10-inch. Not for the faint of heart or poor of vision. Good luck!
